the Cape Fear Model Railroad Society provides a place where the garden railroader and the table top engineer can come together and share ideas and talent in a recreational setting.  This organization provides a corner stone for the novice modeler, and a chance to pass on learned skills of the experienced modelers.
  Founded in 1994 the Cape Fear Model Railroad Society has become one of North Carolina's most diversified and active model railroad groups.  People from all walks of life share a love for trains... and enjoy fellowship at the many yearly events the Cape Fear Model Railroad Society takes part in.  Check out our newsletter page to learn about some of the events we participate in.
